Head of Academic PE

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful, committed and well-established Sport Faculty. The department has a long-standing history of success at local, regional and national levels across both Academic PE and Sport. We are privileged to have all sports facilities on site, including sports halls, award winning outdoor pitches, state of the art all weather surface and purpose-built strength and conditioning gym which is accessible to all students and staff.

We have strong links with local clubs and community providers as well as high level sporting organisations, the College is the official College partner of Ealing Trailfinders Rugby in addition to working closely with Northampton Saint and other Premiership Rugby Clubs. the College also works in partnership with Ipswich Town Football Club.

We are seeking to appoint a strong Head of Academic PE, who is able to teach/coach across our ambitious Games provision, with a sporting background and ability to coach one or more of our Games: Netball/ Rugby/ Football/Cricket/. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, well organised and demonstrate a genuine commitment to driving physical education, sports participation and coaching. The successful candidate will be able to not only teach Level 3 BTEC Sport and/ or GCSE PE but lead the an ambitious vision to ensure our Sports Education is amongst the best in the UK and beyond!
