The Humanities Faculty consists of Geography, History and Religious Education throughout the College. It also includes Business Studies at GCSE and A level as well as A levels in Economics, Psychology, Sociology and Politics.

Geography is a thriving subject within the school and is taught across all key stages. At Key Stage 3, we follow the National Curriculum, providing a strong foundation for further study. At GCSE and A Level, students follow the OCR specification. Examination results have been consistently strong at both levels, with a number of students going on to pursue Geography-related degrees at university.

We offer a rich programme of fieldwork opportunities to enhance classroom learning, recent study visits have included Iceland, Naples and the Lake District, as well as areas more local such as Cambridge and Southwold.

For September 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter, we are seeking a well-qualified graduate with a good honours degree and a passion for Geography. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, capable of teaching with flair, creativity, and enthusiasm across the 11–18 age range.
