St Joseph’s College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Peripatetic Piano Teacher to join our thriving Music Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and inspiring musician to build upon an established piano teaching practice within a vibrant and supportive school community. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality individual piano lessons to pupils of varying ages and abilities, fostering a love of music while supporting technical and musical development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent piano teaching skills and experience working with children and young people.
  • Can inspire, motivate and nurture pupils of all abilities.
  • Is able to prepare students for performances and graded examinations where appropriate.
  • Is reliable, professional and able to work collaboratively with the Music Department.

The role is self-employed, with teaching taking place during the school day by arrangement with the Music Department.
