Fashion & Textiles Workshop with Designer Hector Maclean – Friday 20 November

An exciting, one-day workshop offering students the opportunity to explore fashion design with industry professional Hector Maclean, who has worked with renowned designers including Vivienne Westwood, Mark Fast and Matthew Williamson, and showcased his own collections at London Fashion Week.

Students will create inspirational mood boards, experiment with fashion illustration, develop original garment designs and bring their ideas to life on a mannequin. The workshop is suitable for Year 9 students interested in exploring GCSE Textiles and Year 10 students looking to develop their creative skills and generate inspiration for their GCSE coursework. No previous experience or sewing skills are required!
