Extra-curricular activities broaden experience, build confidence, deepen knowledge, and heighten enthusiasm for every subject we teach. They provide opportunities for children to explore and uncover hidden talents. After-school clubs include: eco-club, computing, cooking, karate, hockey, rugby, netball, football, tennis, athletics, theatre, orchestra - to name but a few.
In Year 4 all the children have the opportunity of living and working on a Thames barge. Other residential trips include a Year 6 week-long stay in a wilderness mountain setting. We simply don’t believe that learning should be confined to classrooms.
We believe that it is by actively participating in such experiences that our children find their own special talents and build their unique character and spirit. We celebrate extra-curricular successes in our weekly parents’ sharing assembly, from Brownie badges to karate belts, and see the confidence of all of our children grow.
