St Joseph’s College Festival is going global!

Driven by our ambition to be the ‘King Maker’ in shaping future professional careers in sports, we have decided to take a momentous step forward.

Introducing a new stage each year at renowned venues, the St Joseph’s College Global Schools Sports Festival will eventually become a seven-stage extravaganza, offering a comprehensive experience for participants worldwide. Thanks to our broadcasting partners, NextGenXV, the excitement will be shared across the globe.

The journey begins in the UK with Stage One, which will always occur at St Jo’s in October.

Are we financially protected?

NSX LTD is fully bonded with Towergate insurance, so you can be sure that the finances for your trip are in safe hands. By booking a package trip with NSX your trip is automatically bonded by Towergate and protected by their Protection Scheme. If in the unlikely event that NSX Ltd were to cease trading, you will be able to retrieve any monies paid through the scheme. In addition, should your group be in the unfortunate position of being on tour at the time, the scheme guarantees to cover the cost of the remainder of your trip a

If for your group you are booking a flight via our partner Flight Centre, the Flight Centre are bonded by ATOL, the Air Travel Organisers Licence. As above, should the airline cease trading prior to or during your trip you are financially protected and will be provided an alternative flight, should this be available, or your money back for your trip.

Do I need insurance?

It is a necessary requirement for all groups going on tour to have adequate travel insurance. Not only does travel insurance provide the cost of emergency medical cover while you are away, it can also cover lost or stolen luggage, the costs of cancelling, delaying or cutting your trip short and personal liability. If you don’t have a provider then please contact us and we can introduce you to Care Med.

What if we have to cancel?

If you or any of your party members decide they need to cancel, our normal cancellation terms and conditions will apply.

Once deposits are paid: Any cancellations prior to 84 days prior to departure will be charged a loss of deposits.

From 84 to 29 days before departure: 75% cancellation charge

From 28 to 15 days before departure: 90% cancellation charge

From 14 to 1 day(s) before departure: 100% cancellation charge

The cancellation fees for flight tours depend upon the cancellation terms of the airline.

Can we change the numbers?

Numbers can be changed from when you pay your initial deposit, up until you pay the individual deposits. Once the individual deposits are paid, the booking is then confirmed.

If you wish to add passengers or reduce your group size after deposits have been paid, speak with the teams at NSX and the flight centre who will assist you with the arrangements.

Is transport included in the Festival?

Yes. The festival programme will include transportation as required. Transport will always be provided for your tournament days. Should you wish to add excursions to your trip that require transportation, we can of course arrange this for you.

How does the booking process work?

Once you’ve decided to attend the festival, we’ll provide you with a final quotation detailing the trip inclusions and prices.

We understand that you’ll need time to coordinate the finer details with your establishment and to collect deposits and so, in order to reserve your trip accommodation, we ask for a 20% deposit to be paid.

Once paid we will hold your trip requirements, giving you time to confirm passenger numbers, collect first deposits and confirm your accommodation requirements.

Once complete, that’s it. You’re booked in and ready to go. Details on payment deadlines are below.

What is the deposit structure?

You will be required to pay 20% for the festival and the flight centre will also detail the process for flight bookings. Usually need to pay a deposit within 5 days of holding flights. The final balance will be collected 60 days before departure and they will able to cancel 10% free of charge before then. Names will be due 4 weeks before departure.

When is the balance due?

The final balance for all tours is due 6 weeks prior to your departure date.

Can you help with a presentation to the stakeholders?

The team at NSX are on hand to support you at every stage of the festival so please contact us and we can support you with presentations to the parents and other key decision-makers within your entity.

Will I have NSX support at the festival?

Whilst on tour with NSX you have access to our 24-hour Emergency Phone Line, giving you instant support whilst you’re away. This phone line is manned by a member of our team who will have access to your trip itinerary and be trained to respond to emergency situations.

Travelling to St Joseph’s

Conveniently located just one mile from Ipswich Railway Station, the College and all its facilities sit within 60 acres of beautiful, spacious parkland.

Close to the A12 and A14, St Joseph’s College serves commuters well. It is an hour away from London and Cambridge by train, and with Heathrow Airport just two hours away by car, it is ideally suited for international families.

With a network of St Joseph’s College’s minibus servicing Essex and Suffolk as well as a daily shuttle service to and from the train station, everything is done to ensure a student’s journey to school is as easy as possible.
