Teacher of PE and Games

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful, committed and well-established Sport Faculty. The department has a long-standing history of success at local, regional and national levels across a range of sports. We are privileged to boast amazing facilities of which are all on site, including sports halls, award winning outdoor pitches, state of the art all weather surface and purpose-built strength and conditioning gym which is accessible to all students. We have strong links with local clubs and community providers as well as high level sporting organisations.

The candidate will report to the Head of Academic PE and work closely with the Director of Sport.

The successful candidate will support the skills development programme, and will work with individuals and teams, within and beyond the timetable, to devise and deliver specific coaching. The successful candidate will have responsibility for coaching elite performance sport, including analysis and mentoring, in addition to delivering in the Prep School. They will also support the staff coaching team, providing feedback and training as necessary.

The Teacher of PE and Games will be expected to be proficient in lesson planning, Internal verification, moderation and delivery of A Level PE, GCSE PE and BTEC Sport. They will be able to evidence their ability to differentiate and add value to the educational experience of our community.
