Time is well-balanced between study, recreation and relaxation. There are no weekend exeats and our Boarding Plus offering means that, if required, accommodation can be made available during the school’s half-term breaks and Easter holidays.
Our boarders join us from near and far. In recent years we have welcomed students from countries including the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Russia, Nigeria, Taiwan, China and Malaysia.
There are more than 130 different clubs and activities available to our students. Extra opportunities for students boarding at the school include weekend activities and visits, with sport available on at least three evenings per week following structured study periods.
We regularly organise visits to London’s West End theatres or to Cambridge; trips to watch sporting events; and tours for rugby, hockey, cricket and netball. Broadening the cultural experience of our students, we offer international art and cultural travel, for example to European cities such as Amsterdam, Rome, and Paris.
Students can also take advantage of the College’s beautiful 60 acre campus, as well as visiting the local town at the weekend for its cultural and heritage attractions, shopping and eating out.
