St Jo’s × Ipswich Town Football Summer School
Over one intensive week, young players aged 12–15 will experience professional coaching, English language learning and a taste of life inside a professional football environment. Led by St Joseph’s College & Ipswich Town Foundation’s UEFA-qualified coaching teams, the programme combines technical training, tactical development and match play with the support and care that makes St Jo’s so unique.
Highlights:
- Daily UEFA-qualified coaching – 3 hours/day, Monday–Friday (morning or afternoon sessions).
- Behind-the-scenes stadium tour at Portman Road.
- Meet-the-players session with Ipswich Town FC squad members.
- Training session at first-team facilities – where the professional players prepare for match-day.
- Club shop visit for official kit and memorabilia.
- End-of-week friendly match (subject to participant numbers).
- English language lessons for non-native speakers, integrated into the St Jo’s International Summer School.

At St Joseph’s College, he helps young footballers develop their skills in a focused, personal and supportive environment. Cole is committed to high-quality coaching, individual attention, and nurturing every athlete’s potential, ensuring each student is seen, supported and inspired to reach their goals.

Ian delivers fun, high-quality coaching that builds skills, confidence and game awareness. He focuses on strength, speed, agility, coordination and mobility, using realistic game situations to prepare players for the demands of football and to support holistic development.
Louis Henman-Mason
Football Coach
Louis has extensive experience developing young players, having led football programmes across schools and clubs, including Ipswich Town FC and Dereham Town FC. He creates a positive, challenging, and supportive environment where students benefit from holistic development and personal attention.
