Welcome to St Joseph's College
The staff and I are delighted to have re-connected with our current students for Lent Term 2021 and we are particularly gladdened to have welcomed the many new families who have joined our community this term.
We begin this new year, once again, as a virtual school for the majority of our students. Our teachers are delivering the full academic timetable via online platforms, both nationally and internationally. To support those families who need them, we have lent numerous electronic devices, allowing students to remain connected and engaged with their studies. Our focus is continued academic progress for every individual through outstanding, live and interactive online teaching.
Careful and considered preparation and planning have been undertaken to keep our community as safe as possible. We are offering supervision in College for vulnerable children and children of critical workers, and our Nursery remains open. We have international boarders in our boarding houses, who are joining the virtual learning timetable whilst being supported by our dedicated team. We have successfully rolled out our rapid asymptomatic testing programme for those staff and students who are in College, and we are fully prepared to scale this up as soon as a full reopening of the campus is possible.
If you are considering St Joseph’s College for your family, there are still plenty of ways to find out more. The Admissions team is on hand to guide you through the process and we continue with our planned application and scholarship assessment procedures, albeit using virtual platforms. To explore our campus with our virtual tours, please click here and do contact our admissions team with any questions and to find out more on email@example.com
We are mindful that this is a challenging time for everyone, and taking care of our community is a key part of what makes St Joseph’s very special. All of our staff, especially the pastoral team, including our College nurse and College counsellor, are available to offer advice that parents may find useful. Find out more here.
With warm regards,
D Clarke (Mrs)
