The Faculty of Creative and Performing Arts develops students’ talent and appreciation for art and design, dance, drama and music. There are opportunities both to study for arts qualifications and to develop interests in the arts on a less formal basis.
Students develop their talent with professional artists, musicians, dancers, choreographers, and actors. Recent collaborations include an exclusive dance workshop at Tate Britain working with the Royal National Ballet; fine art, architecture and cultural study in Rome, Amsterdam and Paris; life drawing at the Wallace Collection in London; singing at Wembley Arena; and performing Othello at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.
