SAT Centre

St Joseph's College is delighted to be a national test centre for SAT admissions tests. Students from schools across the region can come to our campus to sit tests as part of their applications to universities in the USA.

The next assessment date is: Saturday 2 October 2021. Please can all registered candidates read the attached notice.

 

Test Day Schedule

7:30 - 7:45am Candidates arrive and check-in begins
8.00am Close centre doors (or sooner if all students on roster are checked in)
8.00 - 8.30am Once candidates are seated in the testing room, the proctor will distribute materials and preliminary instructions
8.30 - 9.35am Begin testing - Reading Test (65 minutes)
9.35 - 9.45am Break (10 minutes)
9.45 - 10.20am Writing and Language Test (35 minutes)
10.20 - 10.45am Maths (non-calculator) Test (25 minutes)
10.45 - 10.50am Break (5 minutes)
10.50 - 11.45am Maths (calculator) Test (55 minutes)
11.45 - 11.50am Student dismissal

 

Parents, guardians and candidates should please note, following the SAT Covid guidance, candidates will agree to wear a mask the entire time they are at this test centre. We also politely ask that all candidates over the age of 11 complete a rapid lateral flow test before attending the test. If the result is positive, please let a member of the Examinations team know by emailing exams@stjos.co.uk by 9am on 1 October 2021.

When parents and guardians are collecting students, please remain in your car in the car park, and wait for the candidate to come to you.
