Easter Adventure 2008
Exercise Pegasus
Easter Adventure An important part of the CCF is the camps which enable students to put into practice the skills which they have been taught throughout the year. Easter Adventure is about challenging yourself and experiencing a range of Outward Bound Activities. The main objective is to reach the top of Mount Snowdon and this year we made it to the top following the Watkins path. The walk included a scramble up a narrow shale section to reach the summit and we were greeted by glorious sunshine and fantastic views across the valley. The practice walk had included skirting along Heather Terrace to the Cantalibre Stone - who was brave enough to balance at the end?

On the adventure training day, the students scaled the climbing wall and played team building games working on their listening and leadership skills. The blind-folded obstacle course was a real highlight as they had to pass under low wires and climb through, under and over a variety of objects relying on their blind-folded leader to guide them safely through!
