Combined Cadet Force (CCF)
Easter Adventure 2008
Exercise Pegasus

snowdon2008_175_small_wince.jpgOur main aims are promoting self-confidence, sense of responsibility, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance.  Each of the three service sections pursues these aims in its own way, but the common thread of all our CCF training is leadership.  We hope that students will gain a taste of leadership and understand how to develop their own powers of leadership, even if they only remain in the CCF for a year.

In year 9 all CCF join the college CCF detachment ether Army or RAF.  Cadets participate in leadership courses run by the college detachment or by the Army Cadet Training Team's.  The Sixth Form cadets begin to exercise leadership in practice by planning and running activities and exercise and by training junior cadets.
