Our small Infant and Junior classes, situated within our brand new innovatively designed Primary Centre, are the settings where we continue to enrich each child's learning. Each class has an individual learning and teaching area with an interactive whiteboard, a shared wet and craft area, and access to class toilets. The girls and boys receive an excellent grounding in the fundamental skills of literacy and numeracy, whilst enjoying a rich and diverse curriculum taught by inspirational teachers.

Within the Primary Centre the children enjoy reading activities in our circular library, an ICT room with the latest computer equipment, a fully equipped gymnasium, as well as a playground with soft-play areas that connect with the extensive College grounds. There are many exciting visits and visitors each year, as well as access to computers in every classroom. Each child's learning is monitored throughout their formative years and our expectation is that each pupil will extend their learning and take up further challenges academically, in sport and through expressing themselves creatively in the performing arts.

Academically, pupils are always fully challenged and set regular learning targets. Through a wide range of musical opportunities children express their creative flair and celebrate their enjoyment of the arts by entertaining weekly audiences. Outstanding extra-curricular provision (before school, at lunchtime, and after school) is available for all children at no additional cost. In Year 5 all children have the opportunity of applying their learning through a trip to France, whilst other trips include a Year 6 stay in a mountainous wilderness setting. By the time they are ready to transfer into our senior school, pupils are confident about their own learning potential, familiar with the college, and are ready to move on to this next stage of their educational career.
