The Society of Old Birkfeldians was founded with the aim of supporting the School and providing opportunities for former students to keep in touch after leaving. They are thus able to continue to be part of the School community. Over the next year, the Society hopes to contribute to Appeals and to make gifts to the school. Representatives of the Society are invited to attend major School events such as the Arts Festival, Carol service and Rugby Festival.

Various sporting and social events are held annually including, cricket, golf and hockey matches and an annual dinner is held at the School.

The Society publishes its own magazine, which you will receive twice a year.

On leaving the School, students from Year 11 and beyond may join the Old Birkfeldians. Membership of the Society is open to all students and the membership fee is charged throughout the student’s time at St Joseph’s College.
