Boarding School Accommodation

Boarding accommodation at St Joseph’s College is divided into two houses: Goldrood House and The Mews.

Goldrood is a boys only house and includes a variety of dormitory-style rooms for the younger boys. The older students will share with one or two other students.

In The Mews there is a girls’ wing and a boys’ wing. Most students have comfortable single study bedrooms, with a few of our younger girls sharing a couple of small dormitory style rooms.

Both houses have common room facilities, including lounges, games rooms, TV lounges and study rooms, as well as kitchens with cooking facilities.

Their boarding staff reside on site and either live within or adjacent to student accommodation. They are on hand 24 hours a day. Each house has a Housemistress or Housemaster and an Assistant Housemistress to support the leadership and management of Boarding.
