The College’s beautiful grounds provide a surprising oasis of calm above the market town of Ipswich, where our pupils can enjoy their school days and mature in a safe and supportive environment. The 60 acre site provides an appropriate setting for strong academic achievement, outstanding pastoral care and broad extra-curricular provision.
The campus includes a state of the art primary school, specialist teaching classrooms including science laboratories, art rooms, design technology workshops, a dance studio, food technology rooms, ICT rooms and 2 suites of Apple Macs used by Music, Art and Photography students. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards, and there is a dedicated suite of rooms for Learning Support.
The College has a multi-purpose large sports hall with dedicated squash courts, as well as rugby and cricket pitches. A state-of-the-art floodlit Astroturf pitch, separate netball/tennis courts and new changing facilities with viewing gallery have just been built as part of the College's development plan. These brand new facilities enhance our existing excellent sports facilities for both girls and boys.
There are two large Boarding houses also located on the College campus. For more information about Boarding at St Joseph’s please click here.
